Easy Steps To Start The New Year Off Right!


We can't believe it's January 1st, the start of a new year! Time truly flies by. Last month, we were busy with the hustle and bustle of packing gifts, eating tons of food (guilt free might we add), and just over all having a good holiday season. Now we are here at the start of a new year ready to conquer the world! January is the time to reset and press go in a game we call life. So just how can you start the new year off right? Check out a few tips we have below to get your year started!



1. Declutter your home and declutter your mind

When you enter into a cluttered home, do you ever feel like your energy is off and it's hard to focus? You're not alone, haha. When your home is a mess, your mind is too. In order to clear your mind and become focused on your goals this year begin by decluttering your home. The more items you get rid of the more focused and productive you will become. A cluttered space can cause negative affects mentally and physically. So start your year off right, clutter free.



2. Health is wealth

The holiday season has come to an end and it's time to get our lives back on track physically, mentally, and financially. When we feel our best, we are able to perform our best. Take the time this month to set your intentions for the new year. It's not too late! Many people think if intentions aren't set by January 1st of the new year then it's too late to manifest goals. This is not true! We're in the first quarter and intentions can still be set. Break down your goals by quarter and create realistic goals you can reach to make yourself wealthy in a healthy sense.


For example, Quarter 1 here at Toned our physical goal is to take the time to exercise at least three times a week. This will allow us to relieve stress and gain energy for the days to follow. Our mental goal is to take time to reset by stimulating our minds through various podcasts that will help uplift our spirits and keep us motivated. Lastly, our financial goal, well we keep that one private, haha.

3. Get out, get going, and have fun!

Who doesn't love the winter season at the beginning of a new year? Dark mornings, cold dreary weather. What's not to love about it? A little sarcasm, haha. Seriously though, it's very easy with this kind of weather to cancel plans and just stay in under the open fire and the warmth of your covers but we encourage you to get out and have fun. It's nothing like mingling and making new connections this time around. Step outside of your comfort zone and experience the wonders life has to offer this year. Invite friends over for game night. Just remember to have fun!
